The Confucius Institute Nuremberg-Erlangen is a registered non-profit association with the aim of promoting Chinese language and culture. It offers a wide range of language courses as well as cultural activities and events about China. In cooperation with the distribution platform doooogs Independent Publishing Berlin/Beijing and artist Zhang Xun (Special Comix), the Confucius Institute presents fanzines, magazines, comics and more from independent publishers from China, thus giving the creators a platform to showcase their work at Germany’s biggest comic fair.
