Born in Salzgitter-Lebensted, Germany, Dirk Richter now lives in Hannover since 1997. Since the beginning of 2014 he draws his pinups. Under the influence of other artists and photographers, for example Hajime Sorayama (artist), Olivia de Berardinis (artist) and Robert Alvarado (photographer), Dirk Richter developed his unique style. His drawings are showcased all around the world, like Lausanne (CH), London (UK) or San Diego (USA). Meanwhile his "striped" series is respected internationally, and his work is recognized all over the world. Dirk Richter is self-educated.
