Barbara Yelin was born in Munich where she lives and works today. She studied Illustration at the HAW Hamburg. Her comics have been published in the comic-magazine SPRING, the Berlin-based Newspaper "Tagesspiegel" and many more. Her graphic novel "Irmina" (Reprodukt, 2014) was very well received. Her most recent projects are "Channa Maron" (Reprodukt, 2016) and "Der Sommer ihres Lebens" (together with Thomas von Steinaecker, Reprodukt, 2017). In 2016 Barbara Yelin won the Max and Moritz Award as "Best German Comic-Artist".
