Eve Jay

As a 1979er, the Offenbach-born designer had to wait a while for the internet to boot up. In 2013, as one of many consequences of digitalisation, Eve adopted the Comic Solidarity. Since then, she champions with Lukas R. A. Wilde and others for their mission "space for comics". Since 2015, she brings the Comic Satellit Frankfurt into the orbit of the Frankfurt book fair. Under her wings, the Comic Solidarity, who received the ICOM award in 2015, grew from an interest group to an artist representation with an event portfolio. Currently, she operates out of Frankfurt, as a creative director for agencies and publishing houses, and works on several publications as an author and editor, e. g. "Sky Sharks: Invasion" (Cross Cult), the upcoming film's comic book prequel. As an expert for brand developement, she maintains the analogue realities of digital ambitions. In her spare time, she records her vocal musings for the German podcast "Dreck und Gold" by Adrian vom Baur, cares for the social media lives of plants, and rolls initiative - a lot.
