Zwerchfell, Germany's oldest independent comics publisher, has been in business for 30 years, mostly releasing works by authors from the German-speaking countries. Founded in 1988 by Christian Heesch, the company has been led since 2009 by Christopher Tauber and Stefan Dinter, with Asja Wiegand adding her talents to the team since 2014. Our work involves both promoting new, emerging artists and giving established comics greats the opportunity to develop innovative projects.
