Dorothée de Monfreid is a children's book artist from Paris. She worked as a graphic designer before starting to write and illustrate her own children's books. Dorothée de Monfreids books are published at different German publishing houses. Most recently Reprodukt published the three books "Schläfst du?", "Keine Lust" and "Wartet auf mich". "Schläfst du?" has been nominated for the German Children's Literature Award as well as for the "Max und Moritz" Award in 2018.
