To be able to work on "The Smurfs" at Studio Peyo, the spanish artist Miguel Díaz Vizoso moved to Belgium in 2000. Since then he continues the work of Peyo masterfully. After he finished his studies at the Châtelet art school, he began working as a cartoonist for the Smurf-Magazine. Somewhere along the way he wrote a story for the classic "Robin DuBois"/"Robin Ausdemwald" by Bob de Groot. Afterwards he continued working at Studio Peyo and by now he is the mind and hand behind many beloved Smurf comics.
