A cartoon artist, musician and comedian, GYMMICK was born in Nuremberg in 1973. His weekly cartoons have been appearing in the Nürnberger Nachrichten and the Nürnberger Zeitung since 2006, earning him the Kulturpreis Nürnberg, followed by the honor of receiving the Deutsche Karikaturenpreis in Silber (German Award for Caricature in Silver). Since 2014, GYMMICK has also been on tour with members of the band TON STEINE SCHERBEN. His book "GYMMICKs wondrous world" as well as his calendars, art prints and CDs are available from UltraComix Editions.
