Jonathan Kunz, born 1988 in Ulm, is a German comic artist and lecturer. Together with Elizabeth Pich, he publishes weekly webcomic strips under the name "War and Peas". Especially internationally they have gained a large followership in the last years. Comic expert Lukas R. A. Wilde lists the project on the website of the Gesellschaft für Comicforschung as a reading reccommendation and calls the duo 'representatives of new generation of webcomic artists'. Their comic strips get published on their in-house website, different social media channels and the Italian weekly Internazionale. Since 2013, Jonathan Kunz is furthermore a lecturer at HBKsaar and conducts the newly found master's degree "Comic / Graphic Novel" at the division of communication design.
