Despite his Belgian name, Simon van Liemt is actually French. After studying at the Saint-Luc institute in Liège, he worked at the "Parfois j'ai dur"-Workshop alongside stars-to-be like Ralph Meyer and Bruno Gazzotti. Van Liemt made a name for himself with his work for the very popular "Lanfeust Mag" even before he started to create more extensive projects like "Poker" with Christophe Derrien. At the moment he is working on "Les nouvelles enquêtes de Ric Hochet", a reboot of the classic series ("The Mighty Return of Ric Hochet") with writer Zidrou.
