Behind "Illustrie" you'll find the creative duo in career and life Stew Wegner und Timo Müller-Wegner. Avid drawers since early childhood, the artist couple took their passion to design school and a freelance career as illustrators, for agencies and publishing houses. (Timo also took it to animation school.) They first met at the comic seminar in Erlangen. When working together, the married couple from Hamburg take turns drawing, and have completed over 50 books that way. Among those, a lot of volumes of "Die drei ??? Kids", which were designed by Stew during her studies. Their son is following their footsteps. The family is writing and drawing on their own IPs for comics and childrens books, focused on everyday life, fantasy or autobiography. In their spare time, they like to play, read and renovate their country home.
