Christian Gasser
Author, Docent Hochschule Luzern – Design & Art
Christian Gasser, born in Bern in 1963, lives in Luzern, where he is working as an independent author, journalist and docent at the Hochschule Luzern – Department Design & Art. He is co-editor of the comic magazine “STRAPAZIN”, co-curator of the Graphic Novel-Days at the Literaturhaus Hamburg and a member of multiple juries focusing on comics, animation movies and radio features. Publications (i.a.): “Mein erster Sanyo. Bekenntnisse eines Pop-Besessenen“ (2000), „Blam! Blam! und du bist tot! Super- und andere Antihelden“ (Stories, 2007), „animation.ch. Vielfalt und Visionen im Schweizer Animationsfilm“ (2011), „Comics Deluxe“ (2012), „Rakkaus! (finnisch: Liebe)“ (Novel, 2014). He has been a member of the “Max und Moritz” Award jury since 2010.
