Christine Vogt

Director – Ludwiggalerie Schloss Oberhausen

Dr. Christine Vogt, born in 1967, studied art history in Aachen. After her Master's degree she worked as a trainee and later on as a research assistant at the Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum Aachen. Besides research projects on the 16th and 17th century, she mainly acted as an exhibition curator with a focus on contemporary art and also worked on numerous publications. In the context of her PHD thesis she also intensively engaged with illustration and graphics. Since March 2008 she is head of the LUDWIGGALERIE Schloss Oberhausen, where she curated various exhibitions, i.a. Ralf König: “Eros der Nasen” (2009), “Die 7 ½ Leben des Walter Moers” (2011), “Ulf K., der Poet unter den Comiczeichnern” (2012) and “Ruthe Sauer Flix – Das ist doch keine Kunst (2015)”. She has been a member of the “Max und Moritz” Award jury since 2016.
